Fifth House Ensemble showcases contemporary piano trios by Stacy Garrop, Dan Visconti, Donald Crockett, and Paul Schoenfield. Hear each composer’s unique aural landscape, rich with inspirations of film noir, jazz, pop, and folk songs. Explore how these American composers have captured the wildly diverse musical world of the music of our time.

Your concert ticket entitles you to A FREE GUIDED TOUR of the museum at 6:30pm. Bill Bein, president of the board of Fifth House Ensemble, has been a volunteer at the Driehaus for over five years and, while he is not an ‘official’ tour guide on the museum staff, he has led dozens of informal tours—and will be personally leading this tour. And, if you want, you can even come earlier; the doors to the museum open at 6:00pm.

If you have not been through the Driehaus, check out www.driehausmuseum.org – it is a true national historic treasure. Their current show is L’Affichomania: The Passion for French PostersOur tour on the 15th will cover both highlights of the museum and posters from the L’Affichomania show.
