PERFORMANCE:

Fifth House Ensemble visits Northern Illinois University to present an interactive workshop, masterclasses, and a performance of our signature “Americana” program.

Melissa Ngan will host a workshop on “Funding Your Dreams,” while other Fifth House musicians coach string and piano chamber ensembles in a series of masterclasses. The day culminates in a full-length evening performance of “Americana” at the NIU recital hall from 6:30-7:30pm, featuring contemporary music written by Stacy Garrop, Dan Visconti, Donald Crockett, and Paul Schoenfield.
