Behind The Scenes
As you all know, 5HE productions tend to be way more than just a concert. We strive to make the performances engaging, different, and memorable. Usually, this takes an enormous amount of behind-the-scenes work, and today, I want to give a shout out to some who is serving an absolutely crucial role in this production but will never be seen on stage. So thank you, Mark Shuldiner, harpsichord specialist extraordinaire. Not only did he help us secure permission to rent one of the best instruments in town, but he is handling every single load-in and load-out at our concert venues, and tuning before each concert.
This is no small assignment, and we are VERY grateful to him for his hard work and great energy. Kudos to you, Mark!
Here's Mark working on the 1992 Paul Irvin double manual harpsichord on loan from the Chicago Temple. It's going to be living with us for the next two days, and it sounds beautiful!
