New Year, New Venue

Phew! It's been a week! I'd like to thank everyone who supported and attended The Weaver's Tale: of the fearless boy and the loveless girl. We are delighted that the show was a success! One of the things everyone underestimates when planning a new show is the impact a venue or presenter can have on the experience. This year was our first at Mayne Stage in Rogers Park, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience we had performing there. Here's why Mayne Stage rocks....

1) amazing staff - everyone from production manager to house manager was on top of things all afternoon evening, making the process smooth and efficient

2) phenomenal tech - great projector, good sound reinforcement, fun lighting

3) fab design - who doesn't love deco? such a cool look and feel

and most importantly....

4) a healthy supply of snacks and beverages in the green room. woo hoo! well-fed performers are happy performers

I can't wait to play there again on the Dec. 19th WFMT broadcast, and again in February and May for The Weaver's Tales. Awesome people, awesome place. If you saw us at the Cultural Center, consider visiting us at this venue next time! It's really, really cool.
